Meeting of Jupiter and the Moon in rich winter skies

One a bitterly cold evening, the blanket of cloud cover slid away and uncovered a great Chicago winter sky...and a conjunction of the Moon with Jupiter among great winter friends of Gemini, Taurus and Orion.
Using the Canon T5i and a 18mm/135mm zoom lens, I captured the meet during a 20 minute session. In this next shot, one can clearly see the Jovian satellites with just camera alone...
Swapping out the Canon lens with my old Nikon adapted 85mm/200mm zoom lens, I capture the busy area of Orion's belt area...
It was much too cold for this Chicago Astronomer to spend more time outside....with temps hovering around 1 degree, I just wanted to capture this meet and head indoors.
