Solar Imaging on a brisk windy fall afternoon
09 November 2013
Sunspot #1890 burped out an X-Class flare recently, now facing us...and I thought I would take a short imaging session on a very windy and gusty Saturday afternoon. Setting up the C102mm with full aperture filter and attaching the camera to the MaxView II adapter eyepiece, we got some pretty decent captures...
#1893 now sklewing away, also had it's moments earlier this week....
Near the end of the session and in a rare moment of atmospheric clarity and free of shifting tree branches #1890 displayed a great filament...
Lookin' at the Sun, so you don't have to....but should.
