Another board I inhabit was talking about a new supercomputer that's gonna be used to scan the brain to build a detailed 3d model. Darn thing runs at 22.8 teraflops.

We got to discussing who we would use for a model. Dan said he could map mine with a 486 computer. He really likes me. In some other life I think. Dewtey then came back and asked, "But,... what would you do with all the extra FLOPS???"

Commadors eh? I remember a co-worker of mine who was nuts over the Timex computer. A little tiny thing of the early 80"s. My tv remote has more computing speed that that thing.

Oh, yeah. Definitely all in good fun. These guys are all friends. Dan though is one reall oddball; gets me frustrated sometimes with goofy ideas. He's intelligent, and has time on his hands to read lots of stuff. Created an internet search engine business and then sold it for a fortune. Anyhowsit, I've encouraged him several times to invest in a college degree. It would help organize his thinking processes.
