Also, thanks to everyone there for helping me with suggestions on good targets for imaging!

First, a 2 star alignment plus 2 calibrating stars followed by the all star polar alignment. Then another 2 star alignment plus 2 calibrating stars. Most of the one minute pics have elongated stars though. I am thinking of the Celestron Nexguide to eliminate this and it does not require the use of a computer.

I've not seen a nexguide in action. I wonder how accurate they are?

Not sure. It has good reviews but I don't have enough data to go along with the reviews





Same here! The reviews favour the Orion Starshoot Autoguider plus laptop though.

Javier, nice pics, and I'm glad you made it out last week. Sorry the conditions deteriorated so early. Dew and fog are almost always a problem out there, but usually during the morning hours.

I'd take the CPC 800/wedge(more aperture but slower at f6.3 reduced) and also piggyback that camera on the CPC ---> Milky Way!
