I am setting up the 9.25" on the hill on the north end of Horner Park at California and Montrose.
We will target Saturn, Venus, the moon, the increasingly bright, new Nova Delphinus 2013, Hercules Cluster, The Ring Nebula, The Double Double pair of binary stars, and later Andromeda Galaxy, Neptune, and Uranus.
Joe has posted good info on tracking down the new nova here.
Bring your telescope. Bring your binoculars. Certainly bring your kids.
Bring an SLR and maybe we can snap some moon pix if it is not too busy later.
There is ample street parking on Montrose and in the parking lot on California. I have a permit to stay late. If you want to stay after 11, park on the street so you are not ticketed or locked in.
