Early morning Solar Imaging

The early morning brought some sunshine on an otherwise cloudy and rainy spring, here in Chicago. I take any opportunity to do some solar imaging and today was a decent one...
Sunspot #1719 was doing nicely among some pretty cool faculae near the solar limb.
But it was #1721 & #1723 that were the highlight of this session...
You gotta catch the atmosphere just right, when a layer of heat is thin and the view sharp. Sometimes you get it, most time you don't...
A good session on a chilly spring morning....
