I know Joe likes publicly announced sessions to be as inclusive as possible, but I have something I'd like to try tonight that will be limited to the regular crew.
For a couple of years, I've wanted to do a real time virtual lunar observation over the internet. Watching a YouTube video last week of Slooh's Transit of Venus coverage gave me the idea that Google's "Hangout" might be an easy way for me to do a real time virtual lunar observation. I'd like to give it a try tonight, if any CAs are willing and available. If the test run goes okay, maybe it can be opened up for a wider audience. Just a thought, and possibly another avenue for "group" observing, without leaving home.
I'm hoping to be out between 7- 9:45 PM tonight. Let me know if you're able and willing to participate in this test run.
