One of the artists on my record label comes to Chicago this weekend to play a few shows. Megan Reilly is a fantastic singer/songwriter who fronts one of the best bands around: Steve Goulding (d-Mekons, Graham Parker and The Rumour), Tony Maimone (b-Pere Ubu) and James Mastro (g-Bongos, Ian Hunter). I can't stress how awesome they are a quartet and how strong of a singer Megan is.

If we do our jobs right, she won't be playing in small clubs like this too much longer.
One of our other bands, Speck Mountain, open the show. A few years ago, they would have been known as space rock. Now they're just dreamy. Hope to see some of you there.
