It’s nearly time for my monthly New Moon spotting challenge. Some North Americans may set personal records on April 21st when the Moon shortly after sunset will appear barely further from the Sun than the 7° Danjon limit. At 25 minutes after sunset from Chicagoland the Moon will appear 7.5° from the Sun.
