I generally try to make videos that aren't location-specific, but this week Chicago (and a good portion of North America to the north of us) gets a bit of an celestial treat. Curt (Centaur) already made a more detailed post about it here on the forums, but "Eyes on the Sky" also takes a look at the Moon occulting Zeta Tauri on the night of the 1st into the morning of the 2nd. Of course at the moment, the weather is looking only so-so for that - but it is still several days out.
Mars is also at it's best for the year - well, the next TWO years! - reaching opposition this coming weekend. So even if you only have a small telescope, give the Red Planet a look.
