Here’s my photo of the Full Moon this evening about half a day before its greatest illumination for the month. It was taken from Arlington Heights, Illinois on 2011 MAY 16 at 20:21 CDT, which was 14 minutes after sunset and 41 minutes after moonrise.

We were debating whether or not to call Monday's Moon "full." The difference in illumination from Monday to Tuesday evening was negligible, and I think the Moon was set for us at maximum illumination. We went with calling Monday a full Moon for the Chiacgo Park District star party.
