Yesterday’s passage of the NASA spacecraft Stardust-NExT by Comet Tempel 1 was apparently quite successful. Below is an image from that mission.

I haven't followed this one closely, but I heard that the impact crater six years ago might not have been captured on camera and on the other side of the comet.

Too bad if so.
