I'm not sure if the autumnal equinox is the 21st or the 22nd, but I'm free the morning of the 21st. Since the spiral "galaxy" stones near the full Moonrise spot are oriented for the Sun to rise straight through the east-west stones in the center on the equinoxes, I thought it would be fun to document this firsthand.
My plan is to get down by the Adler before Sunrise, maybe set up my 60mm refractor for projection solar observing, and get pictures as the Sun rises between the Stonehenge like stones. Is anybody else interested?
