Can anyone suggest a dark-sky site for viewing the PERSEIDS?
We're in the far NW Chicago suburbs and the light pollution is horrendous.
Is Zion Beach State Park a good spot? What about Kettle Moraine SP in Wisconsin?
Any others even closer? If you had two days off and could drive up to four or five hours where would you go?
