Join the Chicago Astronomer crew at La Villita Park in the Little Village community Saturday evening from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm and share urban skies with our fans and park visitors.

We will set up telescopes on the egg shaped mound...

We will have mighty Jupiter as our highlight of the evening, sharing views of its cloud banding and maybe even catch the Great Red spot.  We will also target early spring celestial objects for our guests.

The weather looks good so far for this astronomical event in the Little Village community.

Solid go for our Star Party at La Villita Park...

I took a recon visit to the La Villita Park this day to scope out our exact site and relation to parking.

It's all great!

Parking is abundant adjacent to our telescope set-up locale on the "Egg Mound".  Our park supervisor Andrew has been wonderful and accommodating for our crew....

Flyers are posted throughout the park on our visit and park goers have expressed excitement about the Chicago Astronomer arriving and bringing the stars to their park, not having to travel.

We are ready and eager to share the skies with our Little Village Neighbors Saturday evening.
