Our 1st Chicago Astronomer Public Observation
session at the 606 Bloomingdale Trail for 2017

The Chicago Astronomer returns to the 606 Bloomingdale Trail for year II, as the resident Astronomer crew for the 2017 Astronomical Season, sharing urban skies with all of our trail fans...!
Our first public observation session of the year will be Friday, the 10th of February 2017 from
6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. We will set-up telescopes at our Exelon Observatory site at Ridgeway Ave - at the western-most end of the 606 Trail...
We will enjoy Venus, Mars, the Full Moon and late winter favorites like Orion, Taurus and Sirius. We also have a minor Penumbral Lunar eclipse to share, the the Chicago Astronomer will guide the way.
The weather promises to be in the low 40's, so dress warm and join us for urban Astronomy at the 606 Trail.
