The Chicago Astronomer and the Slow-Roll Bicycle crew

The Chicago Astronomer will set-up telescopes at Harrison Park (18th st and Damen) and welcome the Slow Roll Chicago Bicycle crew, who will assemble and share the urban skies with us before heading to the museum campus in a caravan and the Adler Planetarium.
At the Harrison Park start point, we will attempt to view the Sun before it sets and the Crescent Moon while we have the scope set-up, discussing all things astronomical. We will only be on-site for one hour (6:00 pm to 7:00 pm).
We are honored to join other organizations and institutions in this broad multi participant event! Stop by, say hi and take a few selfies.....
