The Chicago Astronomer crew and the Chicago Park District will conduct our last joint public event for the 2014 observation season at Washington Park at Chicago's south side - 5531 S. Martin Luther King Dr.
We will set-up equipment by 6:30 pm and share the urban skies with park visitors - targeting late fall favorites for our fans such as binaries, star clusters and red giants. We will be adjacent to the field house and remain attending to our visitors till 9:00 pm. The weather promises to be warm and clear for this evening under the city skies.
