A Chicago Astronomer Non Astronomical gathering of fans and friends

Maria and I were chatting about just heading out to the lakefront, leaving the scopes behind and enjoying a nice and easy summer's evening. Packing a cooler, bringing guitar and goofing around. I had mentioned this to some of my pals and they too will join us, bring guitars...and now we got a bash going.

I invite all Chicago Astronomer crew, fans and friends to stop by say hello and join in on the tunes and chat. Bring a cooler, (No booze), and share an evening with us on a warm summer's evening. We will gather by the Galaxy rocks - just south of the Adler Planetarium building at 7pm and remain till about 10pm.

UPDATE:

We are going to cancel this gathering for tonight.

Severe storms are in the area and weather could be threatening.

So....

We will re-schedule this gathering for sometime next week when the weather is calmer and steady. Stay tuned for the updates...
