Solar Imaging Monster Sunspot #1711 on a new CG-5 Saddle mount

The first of April brought cold temps, but partly sunny skies. A good time to try out the new ADM Saddle mount and image SuperSunspot #1711...
The new Dual Saddle performed great - with no wobble or play of any sort. It grabbed the Vixen Dovetail firmly and securely. I am pleased on this new addition to the Chicago Astronomer arsenal...
I was dodging clouds and the atmospheric conditions early on sucked, (not in a good way), but the air cleared up from time to time and I was able to get some decent shots..
I utilized various types of filters, stacking some...with pretty nice results. The Yellow filtering brings out great details and light contrast. #1711 was putting on a good show and likes his pic taken...
The magnetic field lines were changing from image to image...and we end up with this nice pic...

I finish off this Solar session with some Binoviewing....
...which was pretty cool.
Let's see what tomorrow brings as #1711 come toward stage center.
