Sunspot AR 1711 has bombarded Venus with a CME burp, but as it quiets down and turns our way, it still is putting on quite a show...

Atmospheric conditions are turbulent this last day of March, as the FOV was all a mess, but from time to time - the air steadied for a moment and 1711 is lookin' pretty cool for an Easter treat....

The Filament separating the major sunspot is moving from image to image - I can imagine it flipping like a water hose on full spray...
Conditions are deteriorating now, as it's getting to be more cloudy and sunny....but let's what the rest of the afternoon holds.
