Solar Imaging

Another bright sunny winters day means I get to shoot the Sun and track the rotation over at least three days now....

The day was windy and high thin clouds. Not as clear imaging and the solar limb was very turbulant...

Using the 90mm Refractor, full aperture 11" white light solar filter and the trusty Polaroid and Sumsung pocket cameras...not too bad.

I hope this streak of clear afternoons goes on and I can continue he imaging...

I've been fighting a post-holidays winter depression, and not keeping up on things like I normally do. I like that you were out capturing the Sun over the clear days last week. I was tempted to do so myself, but just couldn't gather the energy to take a scope out. Nice shots, and this should be a very good year for solar observing.
