Paulie, I found a decent article that explains the horseshoe orbit. www.technologyreview.com/blog/arxiv/26608/ It really isn't a horseshoe orbit. It just looks that way from our vantage point on Earth. If you were standing on the asteroid, you would see that it makes a full complete circle around the sun.

This is similar to the Saturnian satellites being nudged about. The Shepard satellites causing twistings and other contortions to the ring system, influenced by micro gravities.

This is an interesting subject.

I have it figured out now. I wondered if it was something like the criss-crossing little Saturnian moons.
