The Session that was not...

As the sun neared the horizon, I had noticed out my window..blue sky! Considering the amount of rain and cloudy days we have experienced here in the City, I am always grateful for clear skies.

I packed the scope into the car, and headed down to the lakefront to set up at my usual spot. "It's gonna be a good observational session", I thought to myself. Deep clear skies, and a full moon to gaze upon.

But...when I get to the Adler, they have all the meters wrapped in orange bags, because of some damned stupid event at Soldier Field! They always do that to force would-be sport spectators to use the parking lot at $12.00 a car. Thieving bastards.

So, I did not want to be the only car parked there, illegally and a target of the police, so regretably I left. I took care of personal business and a perfectly good night wasted.

Anticipating my next session.

I saw the moon last night and me and my friends guessed you'd probably be down by the Planetarium due to the great weather, but Project Management 404 had other plans for me. Good thing we didn't go though.

I hate when the city pulls that crap. I am still mad about Meigs.

Solider Field events are what kills the parking at Adler?!

Gee, and here I thought I didn't need any more reasons to despise watching millionares play their little games.

Time to start making connections with an ameteur astronomer with lakefront property says I (or at least a parking place close to the Adler)
