Free Opera Browser
I have been an Internet Explorer user for many years, never used Netscape, have Firefox as a back up and played around with other minor browsers. I think I have found a good one.
Opera was not free for the longest, so I therefore never used it, but recently they released the lastest version which is 100% free...and came installed on a computer disk of programs.
It takes some getting used to, but once you do, it surpasses all. It's fast, has a build-in pop up blocker, a form filler and that's in addition to what Internet Explorer has as standard. There is no bloat, images and websites are presented well and one can import all of ones bookmarks from I.E.
They also have a nifty community, in where one can blog one's thoughts for free. I have created a blog of sorts to augment The Chicago Astronomer, and have just started to use it in archiving my Chicago Astronomer emails and notices.
You can find it here: http://my.opera.com/chicagoastronomer/blog/
A lot of features yet to be exploited in Opera, like RSS feeds, chat rooms, a mail client, spell checker, mobile PDA browsing etc...
You can visit the site and download it for yourself here: http://www.opera.com/
I would recommend the new improved and free Opera as your browser of choice... #Thumbsup#

Thanks for the browser, Joe. I'm about to select an ISP at home. Just do my surfing from school or the library so far. I'll give this one a whirl and see how it does.
By the way, it's been awful quiet here yesterday and today. Need me to stir up some trouble for you? I'm a talented guy, yanno.

If the universe is a ball the size of America, then the solar system is almost as large as the smallest cell in the human body. |

Dave,
Plenty of hits, but those are shy hits, but I appreciate and welcome all visitors and participation. It's a remarkable ride so far.
I'll discuss anything from outer space to inner space to multi universe to the face on Mars. Welcome all opinions, thoughts and interests. But flaming and personal attacks and ridicule are not cool...![[image] [image]](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v209/josephguzman/Smileys/rules.gif)
So stir it up, I'm ready...
