You're quite welcome for the shout out - you did such a nice job of laying out the history of those craters and showing where to find them, I didn't see any point in me re-doing the fine work you'd already done! So I'm glad to direct people here to see what you posted, and also hopefully stick around and find out about Joe's good work with outreach in Chicago too.

Thanks Jim! Yes, lots of work for this one, and I can only do this much extra for videos occasionally. The other ones aren't too bad (on a good week, 6 to 8 hours per video). But for the Venus Transit? It was worth it to go all-out.

But, screw that. You will be hard pressed to top this video. I especially can't believe you found that old 8mm footage of the far flung astronomers! Your research team is top notch. Double their pay immediately!

I never took French in high school or college. I consulted my "French language coach" (friend from college), and she told me how to say it right, and... well - I still didn't. (Oops!)

French always was one language I couldn't ever really "fake" all that well. Spanish? No problem. Italian? Piece of cake. French? Not so much.
