The Chicago Astronomer now listed as a resource at the Adler Planetarium website!

A nice surprise was brought to my attention this afternoon while readying for an observation session at the Adler this evening. I have been informed that the Chicago Astronomer has been recognized as an informal astronomical resource for Chicago area amateurs and space enthusiasts.

Cool!

You can find it here on the Adler website:

Hiram oldman,

Always good to see you here and I anticipate you bringing that classic orange Celestron beast to our sessions... :)

Thanks for the kudos and nice to listed as one of the astronomical resources in the amateur astronomy in the Chicago area.

That Nikon scope that I adopted is not mine, but an addition the Adler "re-aquired" last year. I liked it so much that I have taken upon myself to be the primary user and caretaker of the scope. The contrast and views are sweet. I think it's quite cool and Unique.

We certainly must reunite with you soon and celebrate the spring skies among the Chicago Astronomers.

See soon!... ;D
